Currently us is me, David Berry, although a family of contributors is in creation.
There are two parts to the web site, The Art Times and The New Humanity Times, each being an extension of the other. It is obvious to me that we have entered a new age of humanity, yet there are few people that I have met that have the resources or the interest to make that discovery for themselves.
While I do not have all of the answers, I do see trends in society and the results of scientific discovery that suggest the direction for this new age. The two sections of this site are a place where I am collecting, expressing and sharing the evidence I have found of this new age.
For the last ten years my life has been a rugged path that has given me great lessons in human nature as well as emerging science. It was ten years ago that I was first introduced to Meher Baba through the Discourses while visiting a friend in Myrtle Beach. Since then I have managed to change carriers and professions every two years, frequently finding myself on the cutting edge of art, communication and computer technology. While I have been an artist in many other fields (including writing, filmmaking, audio production, computer illustration, 3D animation, programming and photography), it was not until ten years ago that I began seriously paint. I have always felt that traditional painting styles were restrictive and have strived to integrate elements from other art forms to expand the range of conventional art to make something more dynamic and expressive of my spiritual philosophy. Displaying this Art for the New Humanity is the mission of The Art Times.
Over the same decade I have studied extensively to answer the question of who we are and why we exist. In the last twenty years there has been a great flood of scientific discovery that sheds new light on the answers. Science and religion are offering similar answers to the oldest questions. While the picture is incomplete, new facts point in a unifying direction. Humankind is changing: genetically, socially, technologically and spiritually. We are not yet shaping our own destiny, but a future of great change through turmoil and great hope through compassion and awakening is clearly underway. Providing News for the New Humanity is the mission of The New Humanity Times.
